Profesor Inglés

I have the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), the International House Certificate in Teaching Very Young Learners and 15 years of experience teaching English to kids and teenagers right through to adults of all levels and ages both online and face to face. I also have a bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish and a master’s degree in specialized and technical translation, so languages have always been one of my passions. And, last but not least, I’ve recently completed a post-graduate degree in psychology, which has allowed me to understand how the human mind works. In fact, teaching is all about psychology and understanding your students’ needs, adapting your teaching techniques to meet them and connecting with the pupils you have in your class.

My hobbies include: nutrition, travelling and kids. I have one of my own, which probably has a lot to do with it. In 2007, I travelled five continents in 15 months, which was one of my best experiences to date and definitely one I intend to utilize in all areas of my life. I got to hike seven kilometres into the Amazon Jungle and scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef of Australia! Another hobby is of course teaching, and especially teaching very young kids. I love my job as it’s very rewarding and a lot of fun! Teaching online is amazing because I get to meet people from all over the world and learn about lots of different cultures. We are going to have lots of fun together because when we have fun, we learn!
