Currently living in Barcelona, Spain,I am working as an English teacher , coaching and teaching adults and young adults while working closely with a colleague who runs his own academy/ business. Originally from London, United Kingdom I studied English literature and English language at Brooklands College, and then later moved on and received a Bachelors Honours degree in Film studies from the University Of Portsmouth.

In the years since leaving University I have worked in a wide range of different roles, including working and travelling abroad where I was working in a ski resort, and on superyachts respectfully. Prior to this I worked in highly interactive roles within the sales industry, where communicating efficiently was of a high necessity.

I have recently partaken and successfully completed TEFL course which has significantly added to my repertoire giving me additional skills and qualifications in order for me to teach and coach using new and advanced methodology.

I would describe myself and my approach to teaching as patient, self motivated and friendly while regarding punctuality as a very important quality of my persona. My methodology includes working with platforms like Skype and Zoom in an interactive form. I always want to help to improve my students reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to create further opportunities for them for the future whether it be working in a professional business or studying at University.

I would consider my communication skills as one of my strong points regarding my character, whereby I very much enjoy interacting socially and professionally with people. I am also familiar and able to communicate effectively using the Spanish language.
