Hello! I’m Aliex, a British Business English tutor who believes learning English should be enjoyable, engaging and easygoing.

I teach all areas of Business English, from meetings, emails, presentations and interviews to negotiation, networking, industry vocabulary and everyday workplace conversation. I hold a TEFL certificate plus advanced certificates in teaching Business English, online teaching, one-to-one teaching and teaching neurodiverse students. I also bring six years of real business industry knowledge and I’m a two-time winner of Santander UK’s award for freelance business excellence, so the English you learn with me is the English that works in real workplaces.

My lessons are warm, encouraging and tailored to you. I believe people learn best when they’re having fun and feel comfortable, so you’ll always have a supportive space with no fear of judgment, where mistakes are simply part of learning. I provide all the materials, so there are no textbooks to buy. Every lesson is built around your goals, your job and your industry.

I’m currently studying Business Management and Spanish at The Open University. My love of travel is what first sparked my interest in languages and cultures, so I know what it’s like to be a learner too, and I’m especially patient with Spanish speakers.
