Before teaching English my career was coaching football both professionally and at grass roots level(futbol base) in countries such as the USA , Spain and the UK so this has given me a solid background in tutoring when I finally decided to follow my passion of languages and start teaching English.
My lessons combine structure and conversation: each session has clear objectives, while the atmosphere remains relaxed and pressure-free. I use real-world materials — news articles, podcasts, videos — so that the English you learn is the English people actually speak.

I’ve been tutoring English Literature, English Language ,English as a foreign language and academic writing for over 21 years. In that time I’ve covered a variety of educational levels ranging from 11+ and 13+ entrance exams through to GCSE, A-Level, undergraduate and post-graduate students. I’ve also mentored students writing dissertations, and I’ve guided tutees through university applications. I’ve helped clients successfully apply – and thrive – at schools such as Eton, St Paul’s Girls School and City of London; I’ve also home schooled several students, predominantly for A-Level.
