I am a native English teacher with more than 10 years' experience of a wide variety of classes. I have the official CELTA qualification for teaching English as a foreign language. My experience includes online, presential, children, adults, business English, Cambridge exam preparation, IELTS preparation, and much more. I have all my own material and activity for both presential and online classes. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals in the English language.

I have the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), the International House Certificate in Teaching Very Young Learners and 15 years of experience teaching English to kids and teenagers right through to adults of all levels and ages both online and face to face. I also have a bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish and a master’s degree in specialized and technical translation, so languages have always been one of my passions. And, last but not least, I’ve recently completed a post-graduate degree in psychology, which has allowed me to understand how the human mind works. In fact, teaching is all about psychology and understanding your students’ needs, adapting your teaching techniques to meet them and connecting with the pupils you have in your class.

I am a native English speaker from the United Kingdom with over four years of professional teaching experience. I specialise in Business English, General English, and exam preparation, including Cambridge PET, Cambridge B1 Preliminary, GESE (Trinity College London), and Aptis.
My background includes delivering executive language training with CERAN, where I taught managers and senior professionals from multinational companies in sectors such as finance, engineering, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and technology. I have also worked as an English Language Assistant in Spain through the British Council programme, teaching learners of different ages and levels.
I hold a 300-hour Level 5 TEFL Diploma, an MBA in General Management, and I am currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Seville.

Soy nativo de Londres. Ofrezco clases diferentes con un toque de humor pero siempre asegurándome de que mis estudiantes aprendan. Insisto en que los estudiantes hablen inglés en todo momento porque en cuanto empiezo a dar la clase, me falla el chip hispanoparlante y gallegoparlante y a veces no entiendo nada.
En las clases, tomo nota de las dificultades de pronunciación (siendo nativo, es muy fácil pillar estos problemas) y hago una lista negra de áreas de gramática y vocabulario para estudiar (a convenir con cada estudiante).
Se puede seguir un libro de texto de inglés general con DVD-ROM, se puede seguir un programa centrado en examenes de Cambridge (PET/First/Advanced etc.

I am a native English speaker from London, and as you will see from my CV, I have a level 3 TESOL gained as part of a 3 month Erasmus+ program in Seville in 2017, where I delivered 20 hours of classes a week to adult students. I also have voluntary experience of 2 weeks of classroom teaching in Valencia in 2018, and have completed over 20 week long immersive conversational programs with Vaughan Systems in Spain. I have also worked for Fast English School in London, teaching Italian Executives English through drama.
Other relevant experience includes teaching drama and public speaking. This has included teaching Chinese and Italian teenage students Shakespeare in Performance, and general acting with a wide range of students aged from 8 years up.

Conocí a Vanessa en las clases de inglés que ofrecían en el trabajo. Las clases eran en grupo, pero muchas sesiones tuve la suerte de tener 121. En mi caso, eran clases de conversación donde ella preparaba muy bien las temáticas para discutir, te corrige, da sugerencias de otra forma de decirlo.
Además, tiene una energía y unas vibes increíbles, lo que hace la experiencia muy agradable.
