Hi! I'm Maddie, a native English speaker, born in England and raised in the south of Ireland.
I have been teaching English for nearly 7 years in academies in the south of Spain. I enjoy teaching and watching students achieve their goals in the English language — whether that’s obtaining a certificate for an official exam or being able to use English in a real-life situation.
I hold a CELTA certificate and have extensive experience preparing students for their Cambridge exams (from beginners to C1). I am also OET (Occupational English Test) certified and am able to support healthcare professionals who are looking to advance their careers and work in English-speaking countries.
I am adaptable to the needs of my students and use a balance of student-led activities and structured activities that encourage interaction, autonomy and real-life communication beyond the classroom.
